Welcome — this is the official support page for the Love Journey app. If you have a question, ran into an issue, or want to request account deletion, please read the topics below or contact us directly.
Frequently asked questions
How do I pair with my partner?
- You both download Love Journey and create your own accounts.
- One of you opens the Pairing screen → tap Create code. The app generates a short code that is valid for a limited time.
- Send the code to your partner via message, call, or in person.
- Your partner opens Pairing → tap Enter code → paste the code.
- Once accepted, the two accounts are paired and start sharing.
I forgot my password. How do I sign back in?
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and follow the instructions. If you still don't receive a reset email, please email us with your account email address and we'll help manually.
I'm not receiving notifications from my partner
- Check Settings → Notifications inside the app — make sure the notification types you want are enabled (messages, touch signals, memory reminders).
- Check OS settings: Settings → Notifications → Love Journey → allow notifications.
- Turn off battery saver or Do Not Disturb if they're enabled.
- Sign out and sign back in to refresh the notification connection.
Messages or photos won't send
- Check your internet connection (Wi-Fi or 4G/5G).
- Make sure the app is up to date in App Store / Google Play.
- If the issue keeps happening, please email us with: app version, OS version, and a short description of the bug.
How do I unpair?
Go to Settings → Pairing → Unpair. Note: unpairing may permanently delete shared content (messages, joint memories). Please back up anything you want to keep beforehand.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete account. After confirmation, your personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
If you can't access the app, email us from the address you registered with and use the subject line Account deletion request.
Does my partner see everything I do in the app?
Your paired partner sees: messages you send, memories and events you create in the shared space, touch signals you send, your nickname, avatar, display name, and active status.
Private settings (your sign-in email, password, personal notification preferences) are not shared with your partner.
I want to report abuse or harassment
Please email us with the subject Abuse report and include: the account you suspect, a description of what happened, and screenshots if possible. We treat these reports as a priority and may suspend offending accounts.
Is the app safe? How is my data protected?
See our Privacy Policy for the full details. Summary: we don't sell data, we don't use your personal content for advertising or to train AI, and you can lock the app with Face ID or fingerprint.
I'm seeing an issue that isn't listed above
Email us at support@lovejourney.app with:
- Device OS (iOS / Android and version).
- Love Journey version (see Settings → About).
- A short description of the issue and the steps you took before it happened.
